General Update


Apologies for the delay in dev log posts. Recently, we've been working on testing and minor tweaks to the level as well as some art updates, polishing the prototype before submission. Most additions have been minor changes that don't warrant their own posts, so this post will cover a multitude of small features added over the past week done by all group members.

Since testing, we have added:

  • Pressing 'R' now restarts the level without the player needing to press the reset button manually
  • A minimap was added (see the previous post), and since then it has been integrated into the existing GUI 
  • The GUI now scales appropriately with screen size
  • There is now an end of level trigger, and corresponding end screen, with a placeholder box for  a "best time" leaderboard
